Admission and Enrollment:
- We accept children between the ages of 5 years and 12 years old.
- Enhance the Gift will care for a maximum of 15 children. This number is based on the indoor and outdoor square footage of the child care facility as well as the number of child care providers on staff. Parents or guardians must complete an enrollment form and provide all necessary contact, medical, and emergency information.
- Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
- A deposit of one week's tuition is required to reserve a spot for your child.
- Enrollment is not guaranteed until the deposit and all necessary forms are received.
Fees for Unscheduled Care: Fees for any unscheduled hours are $50.00 per week,
or if less than 1 week, are $0.00 per day, or if less than 1 day, are $10.00 per hour.
Hours of Operation:
- We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM
- 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Late pickups will be charged a fee of $1 per minute after 6:00 PM
Fees and Payments:
- Parents must pay child care fees on or before the Friday day of each week. Payments may be made by check and cash. If fees are not paid in full and on time, parents must pay a $5.00 per day late fee.
- A fee of $35 will be charged for returned checks.
Health and Safety:
- If your child is sick, please keep them at home until they are well.
- We reserve the right to refuse care for a sick child to prevent the spread of illness to other children.
- In case of an emergency, we will call 911 and notify parents or guardians immediately.
- All children must be picked up promptly if they become ill or exhibit symptoms of illness.
- We follow all applicable health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment for the children.
Daily Schedule:
- We follow a consistent daily schedule that includes age-appropriate activities
- Activities may include free play, story time, music and movement, art projects, and outdoor play.
- We provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
Discipline:
- We use positive reinforcement and gentle redirection to encourage good behavior.
- We do not use physical punishment, harsh language, or shaming.
- If a child exhibits behavior that is unsafe or disruptive, we will work with the parents or guardians to develop a plan to address the behavior.
Communication:
- We maintain open and ongoing communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and development.
- We use a daily communication log to share information about meals, naps, activities, and any other important updates.
- We are available to discuss any questions or concerns that parents or guardians may have.
Termination of Services:
- We reserve the right to terminate services if a child exhibits behavior that is unsafe or disruptive, if the parents or guardians do not comply with our policies and procedures, or if we are unable to meet the needs of the child.
- Parents or guardians may terminate services with 1 weeks' notice.
